Jorhat School Children Curious About Hygiene

Believers Church Women’s Fellowship of Jorhat Diocese observed Global Hand Washing Day on 15th October 2012 at a lower primary school. Around 70 people gathered. Most of them were school children.

Pr. Silendra shared the importance of washing hands and how to prevent sickness by healthy living. A video by Believers Church then demonstrated the proper way to wash hands.

The children were excited to practice their newfound knowledge when they got the chance to wash their hands during the program. Most of the children were from poor backgrounds, and were curious to learn about the necessity and benefits of hand washing.

Believers Church held Global Hand Washing Day events throughout South Asia with the goal of educating communities about cleanliness and health.
