Believers Church Jasidih Diocese installed a bore well in a remote tribal village on 20th May 2014. Fifty-five families were benefited from the new bore well.
Villagers mainly depended on a polluted nearby pond for their water needs. They bathed, washed clothes and drank from the same water. Even domestic animals drank water from the same pond. On 11th May, a local newspaper reported about the pathetic condition of the village and its water needs.
After seeing the article, the leaders of Jasidih Diocese took the initiative to install a bore well in the village. And within nine days a new bore well was installed to provide good water to the villagers.
Budhan Besra (village chief) said, “We are grateful; really the church has given a new life to us by providing water facilities, because no one can survive without water.”
Pure drinking water can improve the health of entire communities. Through the clean water project Believers Church has changed the life of thousands of communities.
