Jasidih Diocese Conducts Awareness Program on World Water Day

On 22nd March 2014, World Water Day, Believers Church Jasidih Diocese conducted a water awareness program. 40 women attended this awareness program which was organized by a Women’s Fellowship team and Sisters of Compassion. This is the first time such an awareness program has been held in this particular village.

Sis. Shelly addressed the women, and the topic of the day was “How to prevent the water pollution and save drinking water.” She also talked about the use of clean water to have a healthy family.

The awareness program was truly a blessing for the women because in the area, many to get sicked by water-related diseases. Ms. Basanti who attended the program said that, “It helped me a lot, to prevent the water pollution and prevent sickness.”

This awareness program is one of the many programs which took place on World Water Day.
