Believers Church Patna Diocese organized a youth program at a local girl’s higher secondary school to mark International Youth Day on the 12th of August.
International Youth Day is celebrated to raise awareness of youth issues across the world. The theme of the program was “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
Bishop M.A. Lalachan was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, he inspired the youth. He said, “The world cannot heal itself. Doing nothing is not an option. Whatever we compromise on, we cannot change. Fools multiply when wise men are silent. Darkness rules when light is absent. Youth have the potential, power and opportunity to influence and change the world.” He also challenged the youth by saying, “Believe in yourself, fight your fears, accept your failures and prepare for the best.”
Around 600 girls participated in this program. The program served as a motivation for all the girls who attended. The principal greatly appreciated Patna Diocese for its efforts to educate the youth.
Believers Church works to raise awareness about youth issues in all the nations in which it serves through educating and challenging communities.
