Believers Church Patna Diocese organized a peace concert in association with Baldev Inter School to mark International Day of Peace on the 21st of September.
The theme was “Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called sons of God.” Around 1000 youth participated apart from teachers and staff of Baldev Inter School.
Bishop M. A. Lalachan, was the chief guest on the occasion and in his inaugural address said, “We must be the change to see change in the world. Unless we teach about peace, someone else will teach them about violence. Peace cannot be achieved through violence; it can only be attained through understanding and wisdom. Health and wealth, position and influence, popularity and power, wining and dining, do not guarantee peace or joy. But justice, truth, love, brotherhood and forgiveness will.”
Baldev Inter School students presented a cultural program and Believers Church choir presented a music concert.
To mark International Day of Peace, high school students held a rally. Bishop M.A. Lalachan, the principal, teachers and Minor Seminary students joined the procession to mark this special day.
Believers Church by organizing such programs is able to bring peace and awareness in the lives of those who attend.
