Interior West Bengal Village Welcomes BioSand Water Filters
March 22, 2013A Believers Church Kolkata Diocese Women’s Fellowship team traveled to an interior village to distribute BioSand water filters on 22nd March 2013, World Water Day.
The people living here were mostly illiterate and lacked good drinking water. The pond water that they drank caused sicknesses such as stomach pain, diarrhea and cholera.
Believers Church distributed 20 BioSand water filters to the community. Villagers were excited to learn how the filters would improve their life.
This is just one of many places where Believers Church provided pure water on World Water Day.
