Independence Day Social Work and Rally in Gujarat

Believers Church Gujarat Diocese set aside Independence Day 2009 for social work in the community. Minor Seminary students, staff along with their families worked together to clean a nearby bus stand.

The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation staff (GSRTC) and others in the locality applauded the work.

Earlier that morning, Rev. Fr. Roy hoisted the national flag to start the program.

Elsewhere, A Bridge of Hope center conducted a social awareness rally. Bridge of Hope children, parents, staff and 30 other community members joined in the march. The village head was the chief guest. The center distributed needed items to all the Bridge of Hope children on the occasion.

Social work programs occurred not only in Gujarat, but all over India as Believers Church demonstrated love for the nation and its people.
