Believers Church Dimapur distributed bicycles and sewing machines to people from a remote village on 10th October 2014.
These people have no specific jobs and they go to jungle and cut woods to make their living. So, the church decided to show some compassion to them. Bishop B. Sunderraj and Mr. Z. Mesen (Director of Treasuries & Accounts, Nagaland) were the chief guests and they distributed the gifts to all beneficiaries.
All of them were so excited and thanked the church for organizing such a program. “Now, I can help my husband in taking care of our family,” said Luhulo Kath happily. “Thank you so much for gifting me a sewing machine.”
Believers Church each year empowers thousands of people through the poverty alleviation project.
