Income-Generating Gifts Bring Hope to Needy Families

In an initiative to promote livelihood means for poor families and improve their quality of life, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu in Nepal organized income-generating aid distribution programs in eight different villages of Chitwan district on 24 March 2023.

Altogether, 26 economically-disadvantaged families were provided with income-generating gifts such as goats and piglets, on this day.

Bir Bahadur, one of the recipients, said, “I work as a laborer in house construction sector. I am barely making ends meet on my limited income. On the other side, I have no other source of income. I thank the church for realizing our need and providing us with this piglet. I am grateful for your love and concern. I hope this gift will help to improve the financial well-being of my family.”
