Income Generating Gift Distribution Benefits 112 Families

Believers Church Bengaluru Diocese organized a gift distribution program on 23rd February 2014. Overall 112 families were benefitted from the program. The gifts were given in such a way that at least one member of the family can have a steady income.The gifts include pair of goats, sewing machines and spray pumps.

Mr.Gajan (Police Inspector) was the Chief Guest of the program. He was highly moved and appreciated the work of the church for the people who are not in the main stream of society.

Chandamma, who received a pair of goats said, “I am a widow with a daughter and two sons. The children are going to the school. I received a pair of goats from Believers Church. I am very happy and will take care of goats nicely. We can earn money that will help us to live a better life.”

This is one of the many ways Believers Church helps people to break the cycle of poverty.
