Hygiene Kit Distribution to Needy Children

Continuing its efforts to promote good personal hygiene among children, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Patna organized a hygiene kit distribution program on 11 November 2021 through Hope for Children.

The vicar general of the diocese and Hope for Children staff were present at the program. The vicar general shared with the children about the importance of education. He also explained how good personal hygiene is one of the best ways to protect themselves from getting infectious diseases such as COVID-19, colds and flu.

At the end of the program, hygiene kits were distributed to over 40 poor and needy children. Each kit contained sanitizer, tooth paste, tooth brush, hair oil, bathing soap, washing soap, shampoo, face powder, and also school supplies such as pen, pencil, ruler, eraser and sharpener.

The children were happy to receive the kits and they thanked the church for helping them during the pandemic.
