Healthcare Training Program Conducted in the Diocese of Jorhat

On 31st May 2014, the Diocese of Jorhat conducted a healthcare training program for members of Women’s Fellowship. Women from the different churches of the diocese attended the program.

Dr. Binod Kumar Gogoi (Hospital Superintendent) was the chief guest of the program. Mainly he spoke about two topics: how to prevent sickness and what to do if you are sick.

Jhima Patro (nurse) educated the women about the importance of Vitamin A. Also she said, “I can see how the church loves and cares for others; I am proud to be a part of this program.”

Women’s Fellowship is a department of Believers Church working with a vision to empower women. They work among poor and needy people to provide a better life for them.
