On the occasion of Republic Day 2011, Minor Seminary students in Haryana assembled for a flag-hoisting program and then headed to the bus stand in Ambala for some social work.
The Diocesan office invited Mr. Som Nath (Sub-Inspector) as the special guest for the flag-hoisting ceremony. He offered a word of encouragement to the students and gave thanks to Believers Church for organizing the program. With the permission of the general manager of the Haryana Roadways Transport, the students had the opportunity to do a service project and clean the bus stand.
Some places were quite dirty, and cleaning them was a real challenge for the students. Even the municipal committees were unable to clean this area. But the students worked hard as a team and cleaned it all up within three hours. After seeing the job well done by the students, the works manager and the general manager of Haryana Roadways Transport appreciated Believers Church for this project.
