H. H. Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan Congratulates Newly Elevated Cardinal George Jacob Koovakad

H. H. Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan visited the newly elevated Cardinal George Jacob Koovakad today to personally extend heartfelt congratulations on his historic appointment to the rank of Cardinal.

Cardinal George Jacob Koovakad, the first Indian priest to be directly appointed by Pope Francis to this esteemed rank, has brought immense pride to the Christian community in India. His elevation is a testimony to the vibrant faith and contributions of the Church in India to the global Christian community.

During the meeting, H.H. Metropolitan wished him God’s abundant blessings and continuous grace upon his ministry, commending his dedication and service to the Church.
