H.G. Mathews Mor Silvanus Episcopa inaugurates the Youth Day Celebration

H.G. Mathews Mor Silvanus Episcopa, auxiliary bishop of Niranam Diocese, inaugurated the youth day celebration of St. Thomas Believers Eastern Church Niranam Parish on 15 January 2023.

Speaking at the event H.G. Mathews Mor Silvanus Episcopa said, “Young people are the ones who walk with the Church in its journey. They are strong enough to shine like stars and spread their light in this world”.

“The presence of young people is important in the life of the Church, and that they should always lean closer to the Church”, he said. “Physical, spiritual, emotional and social deaths are happening all around us. But young people of the church need to think whether it is possible for them to work like Jesus to see and identify the problems, to recreate life in those places, and to spread the light of life”.

Rev. Father C.B. Williams, parish vicar, presided over the youth day celebration.
