Believers Church Gujarat Diocese held a blindness control program in a slum on 20th November. Women’s Fellowship members distributed vitamins and Albendazole tablets to the children there.
“I work for daily wages and no one cares for me,” said a local woman named Ramilaben. “I have 5 daughters and I am unable to meet their needs…But today your Believers Church…showed us a new hope in our lives by giving my children tablets and capsules to get protected from blindness. I feel it is really amazing.”
This is just one of the ways that Believers Church improves the health of communities. Other initiatives include medical camps and health awareness classes.
