Gujarat Diocese Conducts Vitamin Tablet Distribution Program in a Slum

A team of Women’s Fellowship members and Sisters of Compassion from Believers Church Gujarat Diocese held a program to distribute vitamin tablets and deworming tablets on 19th April 2014. The program was held in a slum and 94 people, both children and women, benefited from the program.

Sis.Sumitra said that, “I find money for my daily living by going to houses and cleaning toilets. I have four children and my children are unhealthy and fall sick most of the time…This is the first time in my children’s lives they have received vitamin tablets and deworming tablets. I am really thankful to Believers Church for coming to my home and providing healthcare tips.”

Many people suffer because of the lack of simple nutrition and vitamins. Believers Church distributes thousands of vitamin tablets each year to those who desperately need them.
