The simple gift of one goat can be the turning point for an impoverished family and help break the cycle of poverty. This is why, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu distributed goats to another 30 more needy families in Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, and Sarlahi districts in Madhesh Province of Nepal this month to equip these families with sustainable livelihood.
During the gift distribution, the beneficiaries were also taught how to vaccinate, feed, and care for their goats.
Luka Tamang said, “I am so thankful to Believers Eastern Church and its leaders for their concern and giving us these goats as a gift. I will take very good care of this goat and improve the economic condition of my family.
