Global Hand Washing Day Observed in Himachal Pradesh

Believers Church Himachal Pradesh observed Global Hand Washing Day in two of its Bridge of Hope centers on the 15th of October.

Nearly 300 students were taught the proper way to wash their hands. They learned that hand washing is very important as a daily routine and that they should not ignore this practice.

Many child deaths happen due to diarrhoea, pneumonia and other respiratory problems. All these can easily be solved by hand washing. Although soap is present in nearly all homes, it is all too often neglected when it comes to washing hands.

On Global Hand Washing Day, Believers Church is raising awareness about hygiene by emphasizing on the need to wash hands before and after meals.
