Global Hand Washing Day Celebrated in Gujarat

A Women’s Fellowship team in Believers Church Gujarat Diocese celebrated Global Hand Washing Day on 15th October, 2013.

The women’s team went to a primary school to teach children about the importance of hand washing. A video was screened on the importance of hand washing and there was a practical demonstration as well to show the children how to wash their hands in a healthy way. A few banners were also hung on the school walls.

Two hundred and eight children were educated during this program. The principal and teachers appreciated the work of Believers Church in educating their students. It was the first time in the history of the school that such a program was conducted and therefore it had a major impact in the children’s lives.

Every year Believers Church takes the effort to teach proper hand washing techniques on Global Hand Washing Day.
