Gift Recipients Challenged to Help Others in Need

65 needy people in Aurangabad received gifts on 22nd December 2012 through the community development project of Believers Church. Some received goats or a buffalo whereas others got a tricycle or hand cart.

Rev. Fr. Josemon explained to the recipients that the church wasn’t looking at their caste, religion or creed, but that the gifts were motivated by Jesus Christ’s command to love others. “You also try to help somebody else who is underprivileged,” he said.

This distribution program was one out of many. Each year, Believers Church offers thousands of community members the ability to make a living for themselves.
