A Gift and Meal for Widows in Dhemaji Diocese

Around 120 women gathered in Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese for an International Widows Day program on 23rd June 2013. Seventy of them were widows. With the aim to show God’s love, a local Women’s Fellowship team distributed a gift to each widow, such as a piece of clothing. This was followed by a special lunch.

The widows were so grateful to Believers Church for taking such an initiative to help the downtrodden.This is only one of many ways the church is serving the neglected and marginalized in society.
