Gift Distribution among 98 families in Dhemaji Diocese

A poverty alleviation program was held on 25^th June at Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese. Ninety-eight families were benefited through this program where 200 people came. The beneficiaries were given cows, piglets, tin roofing sheets and sewing machines. The panchayat president was invited as the chief guest and she appreciated the church for extending love and concern for the poor and needy people in the society.

The beneficiaries were thankful for helping them by providing them free gifts which would be helpful for the growth of their families.

Prosonti has eight members in her family. She said, “We will put this tin in our roof. Our house is made of thatch and every year we have to change it as it used to get damaged very soon. I am glad to receive this tin sheet which will change our lives.”

These people represent thousands of others who have been similarly impacted by Believers Church in alleviating their poverty.
