Free Medical Checkups in Jammu and Kashmir

A local Believers Church in Jammu and Kashmir held a free medical camp in the town of Bishna on 7th November 2010. Pastor George, the church members and a local Women’s Fellowship team worked hard to make this camp possible for the underprivileged people of Bishna. Rev. Fr. Jagan (Vicar General) was also present for the occasion.

Mr. Ashwini Sharma (MLA of Bishna) was specially invited to inaugurate the free medical camp. The MLA stated in his speech, “I assure I will give my helping hands to Believers Church for all their efforts toward nation building in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Dr. R.K. Anand (MBBS) offered his services to the people during the event. The participants received free checkups and medicine as needed.

Believers Church has helped many thousands of people through free medical checkups, eye exams, vitamins and health awareness programs. Underprivileged communities throughout South Asia have benefited greatly from Believers Church’s health initiatives.
