Free Medical Camp Organized for Needy Children in Nepal

With the primary objective of providing quality healthcare to the underprivileged children, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Pokhara organized a free medical camp through Hope for Children on 20 October 2022.

In this camp, more than 75 children were examined for various health related problems and diagnostic procedures like basic checking of height, weight, and blood pressure were performed. Many parents were also present along with their children to get the benefit of this free health camp and the doctors extended their services to the parents as well.

Nan Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of the local community, said, “As our community members are mostly involved in daily wage labor, they seldom have the means to visit doctors and even if someone falls sick they do not go to hospital unless it’s very serious. We thank you so much for organizing this free medical camp”.
