Free Medical Camp Organized in Diocese of Mumbai

On 3rd June 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Mumbai held a free medical camp for the poor residents in the community.

The camp was organized in collaboration with Patrakar Ukarsh Samiti and Terna Hospital and Research Center. Inaugurating the medial camp, the chief guest, Dr. Ashok Mhatre said, “Our attempt is to come together with organizations like Believers Church and help the poor and needy get access to better healthcare”.

Expert doctors and a paramedical team consisting of 11 members extended their services during the camp. Blood test, blood pressure, E.C.G and other free tests were conducted for the people who came for the medical checkup. Free vitamin and calcium tablets also were distributed to the needed patients. People with serious health issues were referred to hospital for further treatment.

Altogether 90 people were benefited from this noble initiative.
