Free Medical Camp Benefits 180 People in Diocese of Jaigaon

On 22nd July 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Jaigaon held a free health check-up camp in an interior village where people have no access to healthcare facilities.

During the camp, experienced doctors provided free consultation and medicines to the patients. Blood pressure checkup and other general tests were also conducted for the participants free of cost. Altogether 180 people could avail the benefit of this camp.

“We do not have any medical facilities or hospital in our village”, said Amit Munda, a participant of the camp. “We really appreciate and thank Believers Church for this noble service”.

Remi Oran, a woman who attended the camp said, “We often have to travel far to get medicines when we get sick. But today we got a great opportunity to get free treatment in our own house premises. I am very happy and grateful to Believers Church for this help.”
