Free BioSand Water Filters Distributed on World Water Day

On 22nd March, 2011, the Women’s Fellowship of Believers Church Karnataka organized a World Water Day program at the Bridge of Hope center in Yerapanahalli, Bengaluru district. The church used this as an opportunity to distribute BioSand water filters to villagers with no access to pure water.

The special occasion was attended by Rev. Fr. Sumanth, local church members, Bridge of Hope children and parents.

Suresh (Diocese BioSand water filter leader) gave a brief speech on the significance and use of the BioSand water filter, highlighting some practical examples. The people who participated in the program were grateful to the church for providing their basic needs.

BioSand water filters are providing thousands of people with the precious necessity of pure water every day. Believers Church has distributed over 10,000 filters to the most neediest families to date.
