Four Villages Get New Toilets in Diocese of Patna

On 12th May 2017, Believers Church Diocese of Patna inaugurated 50 new sanitation facilities in Bihar.

The toilet facilities were constructed in four underdeveloped villages where people had no access to safe and hygienic toilets and were forced to defecate in the open.

During the inaugural event of the sanitation facilities, the beneficiaries were educated about good hygiene practices such as hand washing and proper use and maintenance of toilets.

The recipients were very happy that they got individual toilets for their households. The women were particularly thankful as they could now use toilets in safety and with dignity.
