Footwear Distributed for Lepers in Jharkhand

Believers Church Jaisidih Diocese distributed specialized footwear to lepers on the 18th of October.

Ex. Vice-Chief Minister Prof. Stephen Marandi was invited as the chief guest for this distribution. He appreciated the work of Believers Church and he said, “Serving humans means serving God.”

Sub inspector Praffulit Kujur was also invited. She appealed to all the people there to have a spirit of helping the needy so that we can serve the poor and needy in a better way.

The footwear was distributed among 35 lepers by Sisters of Compassion. They were very happy to receive them as most of them have been forsaken by the society as well as by their own relatives.

Believers Church is involved in compassion services and caters to the need of the poor and outcast.
