Believers Church Dhemaji Diocese brought relief to flood victims on 20th August 2007. Thousands were affected by the recent severe flooding, losing homes, possessions and communication and transportation facilities. They face shortages of food and petroleum since trucks cannot get into the area.
A relief team from Dhemaji Diocese brought aid to three villages, distributing packets of relief materials. They also prayed for the struggling people.
“This is a real gift from God,” said some who received relief packets.
Believers Church seeks to serve communities by meeting their practical needs in the midst of disaster.
