Flood Relief Efforts in Jammu and Kashmir 2014 – Believers Eastern Church
Jammu and Kashmir is battling one of the worst floods in decades with rivers in the region in spate due to days of incessant rain. Over 300 people have died and many thousands are stranded in Srinagar and villages throughout the state.
BELIEVERS CHURCH RELIEF EFFORTS
Despite poor weather conditions and destroyed transportation facilities, Believers Church Compassion Teams reached out to victims and provided timely relief aid. Till date, nearly 2,600 families have received over 18,300 kg of relief supplies, mosquito nets and clothes through the continuous efforts of the church. Relief efforts are ongoing.
