Filter Distribution Program Held in Siliguri

Believers Church Siliguri Diocese held a BioSand water filter distribution program on the 21st of August.

Thirty five water filters were distributed. Rev. Fr. Barnabas was invited as the chief guest. In his speech he said, “Though this filter is heavy and is made by hand, the work of this filter is also heavy. It gives us 99% of filtration. I request all local community of this place to have this filter in your houses.”

Bro. Amar shared about the importance of using clean water and how using impure water could cause sickness. He used pictures from a book so that the villagers understood better.

Khuna, one of the beneficiaries said, “We used to filter the water by home net. But this filter will help us to get pure water. I am very much thankful to Believers Church. It is because of their hard work and great concern that today we are able to receive this filter as a gift.”

Believers Church provides clean water to thousands of families in many villages in India by distributing BioSand water filters and by installing bore wells.
