Felicitation Ceremony Held to Celebrate the Achievements of Youth in Diocese of Imphal

The Believers Eastern Church Kangpokpi Area in Diocese of Imphal hosted a Felicitation Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the youth members of the parish who excelled in their 10th and 12th board exams and to express gratitude to Almighty God for His guidance. It was a day of honour, a day of appreciation, a day of encouragement and motivation as the church community gathered to celebrate the students’ hard work and dedication, and offer heartfelt prayers for their future educational journeys.

The event commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Shri L. Thadou, the Chief of Dulen Village. One of the priests then delivered a heartfelt felicitation speech, offering words of encouragement and a blessing prayer for all the successful graduates.

The ceremony honored 12 students who completed their matriculation (HSLC) and 16 students who passed their class 12 board examination (HSE). Each graduate was presented with a memento as a token of love and appreciation from the church.

Paominlun Singsit, a HSE graduate, expressed his gratitude, saying, “The church has shown immense kindness and love towards its youth in every circumstance. My friends and I are so glad to be felicitated on our educational journey. We are grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and well wishes for our future endeavors. I thank God for leading us thus far and for the compassionate shepherds of His Church.”

Hatneichong Kipgen, a 16-year-old HSLC graduate, also shared her appreciation, stating, “I am thankful to Almighty God for helping me complete my matriculation. I am also grateful to all my church leaders for their well wishes and for felicitating our success.”
