On 29 June 2021, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Kathmandu held dry ration kit distribution programs at two villages in Chitwan district, Nepal.
Mr. Prem Bahadur Kumar, ward chairman, was present at the distribution programs held at both the villages. He thanked the church for extending a helping hand to needy families.
A total of 36 families were provided with dry ration kits. Each kit consisted of 25 kg rice, 1 litre oil, 2 kg salt, 1 kg pulses and 2 bathing soaps.
The beneficiaries included physically-challenged persons, single women, daily wage laborers and the elderly. They thanked the church for reaching out to them with much-needed help.
Man Bahadur Praja said, “I am so much thankful to the church for this great help. I was in dire need of ration items and was worried about my survival. But during our time of need, you came here and helped us. Thank you so much!”
