Equipping Women to Raise Health Awareness in Kolkata Diocese

From 7th to 9th May 2013, Believers Church Kolkata Diocese trained 30 women to teach health awareness classes. Bishop Dr. Juria Bardhan inaugurated the event with prayer.

Women learned about different aspects of healthcare related to pregnancy, childcare, hygiene and first aid. They were eager to grasp the material and have taken the challenge to share it in rural areas.

The participants received all the necessary materials to survey villages and start healthcare classes.

This is just one out of many ways that Believers Church is improving health in developing nations. Other initiatives include AIDS awareness rallies, hand washing programs and medical camps.
