Elderly Man Realizes the Need to Wash Hands

Believers Church Kathmandu Diocese observed Global Hand Washing Day on the 15th of October.

The hospital medical practitioner who inaugurated the program explained the importance of hand washing. He said, “When we do not wash our hands properly germs start to build their homes in our body.”

More than 200 members of the community were present for the event and 100 children received gifts from the church.

Birendra, an elderly man said, “I never thought seriously about hand washing. After a span of long time I came to realize the importance of hand washing. Now I must tell my children to wash hands before having food.”
