Dry Rations Distributed to Needy Families

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Diphu organized a special program on 15 October 2022, on account of Global Handwashing Day and World Food Day.

On the occasion, the diocese distributed dry ration items to 11 needy families. Each family received a kit containing 10 kilogram rice, 1 kg lentil, 3 kg potato, 1 kg salt and 500 gm soya bean.

During the program, two sisters from the order of Sisters of Compassion demonstrated the steps of washing hands with soap and the Diocesan Women’s Fellowship leader shared with the audience about the importance of proper hand washing.

At the end of the program, the attendees were invited to wash their hands as per the steps taught to them during the program.

The beneficiaries thanked the church for the gift of dry ration items and teaching them about the right way to washing hands with soap.
