DORA Microfinance Youth Retreat Builds Character

On 30th and 31st May 2013, Believers Church Niranam Diocese organized a youth retreat for the children of DORA Microfinance members. The theme was “Influence.”

Around 70 teens from different parts of Kerala attended. The goal of the retreat was to build character and help the youth to become a positive influence among their friends and communities.

Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan inaugurated the event. Through various speakers, youth learned about the dangers of compromise, the need to stand firm in their commitment to character and how to be an example for others. They also enjoyed action songs and a talent show.

The youth were challenged by the meeting and expressed a desire to come again.
