On 19th January 2017 Believers Church Diocese of Vyara inaugurated 48 new tube wells and 19 sanitation facilities in one of the districts of Gujarat.
The villages situated in the interior part of this district are still underdeveloped and lack basic amenities. The residents of these villages are very poor. They also have no access to pure drinking water and proper sanitation facilities, thus making them susceptible to various diseases. Seeing their struggles, the church took the initiative to build wells and sanitation facilities for them to improve their health and standard of living.
The inauguration program was organized in a village where around 450 people were present, including many village heads. The chief guests for the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Jitubhai Chaudhari (MLA), Mr. Sureshbhai N Patel (Tehsil President of Congress Party & Former Tehsil Panchayat leader) and Mrs. Champaben Sureshbhai Jogari (District Panchayat Member).
Addressing the audience, Mr. Jitubai Chaudhari expressed his gratitude towards Believers Church for helping the poor and needy in the community and also constructing wells and sanitation facilities for their welfare.
Mr. Sureshbhai N Patel also appreciated Believers Church for providing education to underprivileged children through schools and Bridge of Hope projects and helping them develop in all the areas of their lives.
At the end of the program, Mr. Jitubhai inaugurated the 48 tube wells and 19 newly built sanitation facilities for the poor villagers.
