Diocese of Vizag Observes World Environment Day

The Diocese of Vizag held different programs for World Environment Day in its Bridge of Hope centers on 5th June 2014.

In one project center, Shri Dheena Bandhu (Sub-Inspector of Police) was the chief guest of the program. In his inaugural speech he gave the children practical steps to reduce pollution and make their environment beautiful. He spoke about saving water and electricity and encouraged children to plant and take care of at least two trees in a year.

Afterward, the children participated in a rally to spread awareness about the conservation of nature and planted saplings in public places.

Through programs like this throughout its dioceses, Believers Church educated thousands of people about the conservation of nature.
