Diocese of Vizag Helps 30 Women to Find A New Way to Earn an Income

On 22nd March 2016, Believers Church Diocese of Vizag organized a community development program to empower women from poverty-stricken families.

The church gifted sewing machines to 30 women that day. Manikyam was one among them. She is a widow and a mother of two children. She took care of her family by doing household chores in other people’s houses. But with this income, it was difficult for her to meet her family’s needs and the same time support her children’s education. So, she thanked Believers Church for giving her a chance to learn tailoring and also for gifting with a sewing machine. Now onwards, she can stitch clothes for others and earn a good income out of it.

Believers Church helps thousands of underprivileged women to become self-supporting through its Vocational Training project.
