Diocese of Vizag Distributes Food to Beggars on Founder’s Day

Believers Church Diocese of Vizag celebrated the birthday of Metropolitan Dr. K.P. Yohannan with street dwellers and beggars on 8th March 2015.

These people make their living by begging and collecting and selling materials from garbage. So, the church used this opportunity to show them compassion and distributed food packets and clothes to them.

More than 125 people received these items. “I was so hungry because I did not eat food for the past few days,” said Raju, a beggar man. “Thank you so much for giving me this food packet.”

Believers Church observed Founder’s Day throughout all its dioceses by serving the poor and helping them through various distribution programs.
