Diocese of Vijayawada Raises Awareness on World AIDS Day
December 1, 2014On 1st December 2014, Believers Church Diocese of Vijayawada conducted a World Aids Day awareness rally.
The purpose of organizing the rally was to raise awareness on AIDS, its prevention and the false assumptions on AIDS and its spreading. Rev. Fr. Varaprasad inaugurated the rally. He urged the gathering to join hands to eradicate AIDS completely from our nation and from world.
400 people including Bridge of Hope children, staff and community members took part in it. The rally was a great success with their active participation.
And it was one of many programs Believers Church put together to educate the public on World AIDS Day.
