Diocese of Vijayawada Distributes Hygiene Kits to Over 350 Children

In an initiative to help prevent illnesses in children, Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Vijayawada held a hygiene kit distribution program through Hope for Children this week.

Sri. Malladhi Vishnu Vardan, MLA, Mrs. Thirupatamma, chairman of zilla parishad territorial constituency, Mrs. Dasu, local ruling party president, diocesan vicar and Hope for Children staff were present at the distribution program.

During the program, hygiene kits were distributed to more than 350 underprivileged children. Each kit consisted of bathing soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair oil, hair shampoo, face powder, hand sanitizer, and face mask.

Kavitha, one of the children who received the gift said, “I am so much thankful to Hope for Children for giving hygiene kits to me and other neediest children. It’s a great help for us”.
