Diocese of Siliguri Reaches to an Interior Village With Medical Assistance

Believers Church Diocese of Siliguri organized a free medical camp in an interior village on 16th March 2016.

It is a tribal village, surrounded by dense forest. People here earn their income through cultivation of vegetables and other food supplies, which barely provides for their subsistence. Also, they do not have access to good transportation facilities or hospitals. And due to these circumstances, most of the time they are denied medical care and treatments even if they are very sick.

So, the church organized this camp to enable the poor and needy people here to have access to free and quality healthcare services. 130 people received medical care, treatments and medicines that day.

“Thanks you so much for providing us free treatments and good medicines,” said Pather Ravi, one villager.
