Diocese of Siliguri Helps Leprosy Patients through Income-Generating Gift Distribution Program

Believers Church Diocese of Siliguri conducted an income-generating gift distribution program in a leprosy colony on 11th February 2015.

These people are extremely poor and have does not have any source of income as they are unable go for work. So, the church organized this program to help them find a way to earn an income. Bishop Emmanuel Juribu was the chief guest and he distributed gifts to each beneficiary.

24 leprosy-affected families received gifts like cows, goats and tin-sheets. They were so much thankful towards the church for providing them with these gifts.

Believers Church shows care and compassion to the impoverished people in the society and helps them to sustain their lives by providing their most basic needs.
