Diocese of Shillong Provides Children Protection from Malaria

Believers Church Diocese of Shillong distributed mosquito nets to children from hillside villages on World AIDS Day through Bridge of Hope.

Malaria was quite common among the people who lived in these villages. So, preventing its spread and ensuring the health of children was the primary aim of these distributions.

All parents expressed their earnest gratitude towards the church for providing their children protection from mosquito bites and related diseases.

The church organizes similar programs to ensure better health and to improve the quality of life of people living in extreme poverty.
