Diocese of Satgaon Distributes Essential Items to Needy Families

Believers Eastern Church Diocese of Satgaon distributed essential items to 20 needy families in Karbi Anglong District, Assam on 29 May 2021.

This initiative was undertaken to help families experiencing food scarcity caused by the ongoing pandemic.

Following the Covid-19 protocol, priests and members of our parishes in this diocese visited different families and distributed a week’s worth of dry rations to each family.

The diocese plans to reach out to the Covid-affected communities in other villages as well in the coming days.
