The Diocese of Ranchi inaugurated bore wells in three different locations in the month of January 2012. Altogether 550 people from three different villages got benefited from these new facilities.
For a long time, these villages were facing water scarcity. The villagers depended on nearby streams for water; they drank, bathed and washed their clothes in the same water. Finding good water for drinking was difficult and the water from the open source caused the villagers to fall ill frequently. Realizing the need for another water source, Believers Church installed bore wells in these villages.
In all the three villages the beneficiaries were very happy about the consistent and pure source of water. They use this water for drinking, cooking, washing clothes and bathing.
The clean water project of Believers Church provides life’s most basic need, pure drinking water, for thousands of communities.
